Step by step

How to do it

  1. Scan the UPI code

    Use the camera, or upload the image someone sent you.

  2. Check the fields

    Look at pa (payee UPI ID), pn (payee name), am (amount) and tn (note).

  3. Pay in your UPI app

    If everything matches, scan it again in GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or your bank app.

Yes. We only decode and show the contents. No payment is made, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Why would I check a UPI QR before paying?

Tampered stickers and forwarded QR images can send money to a scammer. Checking the payee name first protects you.
